Concept cars

Concept cars are made to showcase new style, design or new technology. The company of manufacturer build and shows its product’s upcoming technology or style publically often in motor shows.

Purpose of Concept Cars

The purpose is to review public and customer reaction to new and designs or technology so that it can be decided to be mass produced or not.

Concept cars are not produced widely and finally. Nowadays, as there is a lot of competition in manufacturers and companies so it is very necessary to review demand and interest of product publically. After reviewing the product undergoes many changes and then it is finalised to produced and manufactured.

First Concept Car

The first manufactured concept car was Harley Earl, which was developed in 1938 to display latest development, design and technology of that time.

Some concepts cars are nearly equal to actual production or finished production. They are displayed in motor shows to convince and persuade public and customers, so that public don’t buy product or competitor or opposition of that company or manufacturer.
